I think the price is off too, but they don't have much choice. The 4-button stomps are $250.I have the M13 and I just updated the firmware to version 2.0 today. This is a new firmware that was released along with the announcement of the M9 and it includes quite a few new things. The overdrives and distortions are also much smoother now with the new firmware. Sadly, I kind of want to sell my M13 and get the M9. I love the piece of gear, but I'm trying to strip down what I play through. I rarely use more than 3 effects in the M13 at once, so the M9 seems like a good option. I'd also love the ditch my huge pedalboard... fitting the M13, expression pedal, and 3 homemade boxes requires quite a bit of space!"

True bypass really is true bypass, but honestly I can't tell a difference between that and the DSP. Display is big and bright... easy to see the accurate tuner even in dim light.
I've heard some complaints about the distortion, but I think the various tones sound great, especially with a well balanced amp or an equalizer set to your choice to get the mids just right. Delays, Looper, Verbs, etc. are all outstanding. I particularly like running the Heavy Distortion w/ a Digital Delay and an Analog Tri-Chorus. Vetta Juice also sounds fantastic with the '63 Spring verb. Very solid construction and the jacks really click firmly when you put your cables in. My only complaint is they aren't cheap enough to buy for all my friends! Seriously, I cannot rant or rave about this enough... so freaking great!

i am playing with it since a couple of weeks now, and i am enjoying it really a lot.
the sound quality is great, and programming it is very intuitive.
it has only one tiny drawback: the pedalboard is small, so the buttons are too close to each other.
anyway, i can't imagine anything better for this price!
